Spainish wine is known for its great value, meaning you can find really good quality wines within affordable price range compared to wines from France and Italy.

Many red wines from Spain are made with 'Tempranillo' grapes. It is also called Tinto del Pais, Tinto de Toro, Tinto Fina, and many other names. The famous Rioja is also made with mostly Tempranillo.

Bodegas y Viñedos Maurodos Toro Prima 2009 is another Spanish Tempranillo wine made in Toro D.O. where you call the grape Tinto de Toro.

The father-son wine maker team at Bodegas y Vinedos Maurodos is Mariano Garcia, a former wine maker from the famous Vega Sicilia in Ribera del Duero, and his son Eduardo Garcia who worked in various famous châteaux in Bordeaux, France. And, they have made this value wine called Prima since 2003.

Prima 2009 has dark ripe fruits' aroma - black cherry, black berry and cadied plum, and well integrated oak with melted tannin. It is smooth but strong enough to replace your expensive Bordeaux at a casual dinner table.

Probably... it can be a perfect red wine for your Thanksgiving dinner!
