Sangria is a perfect drink for the summer. I posted Red Sangria last summer, so this summer, I'd like to share my White Sangria!
I used Brut sparkling wine (made by charmat method... like Prosecco) but, you can use fragrant still wine such as Gewurztraminer or Viognier. For fruits, I used yellow raspberry, peach, followed by strawberry, blueberry, and mint for flavor and color contrast.
* Brut sparkling wine is dry (not sweet) sparkling wine. According to the level of sweetness, sparkling wine ranges from... Brut nature > Extra Brut > Brut > Extra Dry > Sec > Demi-Sec > Doux.
Crisp & Refreshing White Sangria

Procedures:
First, please make simple syrup with 4 Tbsp sugar and 4 Tbsp water. Boil sugar and water shortly just until the sugar is dissolved into the water. Cool the simple syrup to room temperature.
Clean your fruits, slice peaches thinly, and halve strawberries. Pick only the leaves from mint. Mix all the fruits and mint leaves, then pour white wine, simple syrup and Grand Marnier. Refrigerate until it is cool and the fruit flavors are infused.
