Working at Corton

With Chef-Owner Paul Liebrandt.
I really respect Chef Paul's foods and works... but mostly his high work ethics. Chef Paul never leaves the kitchen to others' hands and always works in the kitchen, seriously every day and night.

With Chef de Cuisine David Toutain.
Chef David is a very smart, funny, and caring chef. He was always on top of everything in the kitchen. It was really a pleasure to work with him.

I was absent for four months from my blog. Big appologies to everyone who reads my blog.

The main reason was... my double lives; working in a bank on Mon/Tue/Thu and working in a restaurant on Wed/Fri/Sat. I have a day off on Sunday, but it was not enough to update my blog often.

I think the work itself was not hard physically, but just dividing my focus in two totally different worlds exhausted me.

As I just finished my duty on my last day at Corton(www.cortonnyc.com) which was, by the way, on the Christmas Eve, and also as my last day at a bank is coming (January 3rd), I think it is time to keep up my blog again!

I will try to post some good recipes again. So, please keep tuned!

I am now packing up to move to Maryland, and will be in Asia (Japan and Korea) during January. So... see you in a month!

Happy Holidays!
