Refreshing Summer Drink

I served a simpler version of this shot at my friend, Seongyu's bridal shower. Actually, this recipe is inspired by a passion fruit shot that I had from Aquavit. I don't know the exact recipe, so... in this recipe, I just added the layers of flavor that I remember. This is a perfect palate cleanser between a main meal and a dessert.

Orange Ginger Shot
Simple refreshing shot for your party

(Yield: 5 servings / Cooking time: 10 minutes)

Ingredients:
+ 1 orange or 150ml orange juice
+ 100ml passion fruit juice
+ 1 Tbsp roughly minced ginger
+ yogurt ice cream (a bit melted in refrigerator)
* I think you can add some sparkling wine to the juice.

Procedures:
1. Squeeze juice out of one orange (you will get about 150ml juice). Mix the orange juice with passion fruit juice.
2. Add 1 Tbsp roughly minced ginger to the juice mixture. Stir well and strain in a minute. Please make sure not to leave the ginger too long, otherwise, the ginger will overpower the flavor.

3. Pour the ginger flavored juice to a shot glass (about 40-50ml each).

4. Yogurt ice cream should have consistency of whipped cream. Place your yogurt ice cream at room temperature or in refrigerator for a while so that the ice cream can melt to the consistency.

5. Place a teaspoon of yogurt ice cream on the top of orange ginger shot.

Enjoy your orange ginger shot.
